Should our goal be zero trash? Or as close as we can get?
Yes, but not only for the USA.
It is a challenge for all countries worldwide.
Especially developing nations, with growing consumer needs can tackle this problem in an early stage.
In most of europe, the USA is seen as not very energy conserving, or worse, as very energy inefficient. However, most of europe doesn`t really look at itself (it is always easier to blame others) and isn`t very conservative with energy and general resources either – Hence it is a global thing, not only US.
